| Can I swim in the mermaid tails? Yes, Absolutely! Our mermaid tail costumes are specifically designed for swimming with the use of innter swim fins. Read individual costume descriptions for swim fin availability. Can I walk in your mermaid tails? No, you cannot walk in our mermaid costumes. Attempting to walk in or use our costumes for uses other than they are intended may damage the costume. Have you ever seen a mermaid walking anyway? ...I didn't think so! What are the mermaid tail costumes made of? Our MerTails style tails are made of lustrous spandex fabrics for a tight, sleek look that shimmers in the sunlight. The Siren styles are made of stretch vinyl or PVC fabrics with a nylon backing for a "latex fetish" look. What sizes are the mermaid tails available in? Our Siren and MerTails designs are sized differently. Please read below for the sizing information on the style of your chioce. SIREN STYLE SIZING: Our Siren tails are made in a "one size fits most" design that will fit most average size adults with up to 34 inch(+/-) hips. MERTAILS STYLE SIZING: Our MerTails are available in two different size options. Option one will fit most average sized adults with a 28"-31" waist. Size option two will fit most average sized adults with a 32"-35" waist. Because the MerTails styles are made of stretch fabrics, they will fit many different sizes and body types within or close to the limits listed above. Do you make mermaid tail costumes in children's sizes? No, we no longer make children's sizes. Please do not ask. Are the mermaid tails available for rental? Yes, we do rent our mermaid tail costumes for as low as $50. We also offer rentals of underwater cameras and camera housings, wigs and other props. Please contact us for details and availability. Do you offer prosthetic mermaid tails for film and television? In the past we have offered rentals of prosthetic tails, but at this time we do not offer that service. Do swim fins come with the mermaid tails? Swim fins are included with our MerTails styles, but NOT INCLUDED with our Siren styles. Most regular swim fins found at diving shops or department stores will work with our Siren tails. What about shipping? We ship to the USA and several international destinations through the United States Postal Service. Orders containing a mermaid tail ccostume are shipped by Priority Mail and usually arive within 2-4 weeks. Merchandise (DVDs, Shell Tops, etc.) is shipped via 1st Class Mail and usually arrive within 7-10 days. Non-USA orders may take slightly longer to arive. Shipping charges are based on your order's total price and shipping destination. To determine shipping charges, simply add items to your shopping cart and select the shipping destination. Your new total will then be displayed. You do not have to place an order to calculate the shipping charge. What forms of payment are accepted? Our mermaid tails and other merchandise can be purchased online with all major credit cards as well as PayPal from CCNow, our secure online retailer. Please contact us if you wish to pay with check or money order. Online orders are processed on CCNow's secure state-of-the-art e-commerce system, so you can shop with confidence and peace of mind. Your personal information is never shared with anyone. What is your return policy? Due to the delicate, personal nature of our products (i.e. swimwear) returns are not accepted. Orders can be cancled within 24 hours of placement. Cancelations beyond the 24 hour limit are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Do mermaids really exist? Yes, I've seen one! |
